Attendance:
Salford Arabic School runs every Saturday and Sunday for the whole school year from 09:30am to 3:45pm.
The school day starts at 09:30 am, and we expect our children to be in school at least 10 minutes before this
time.
Registers are marked by 09:30 am and your child will receive a late mark if they are not in by that time.
At 9:40am the registers will be closed. In accordance with our regulations, if your child arrives after 9:40am,
they will receive a mark that shows them to be on site, but this will not count as a present mark, but will
alternatively be marked as an unauthorised absence. This may mean that it could affect your child’s grade,
and could face the possibility of dismissal if the problem persists.
If your child has a persistent late record, you will be asked to meet with the Head teacher to resolve the
problem, but you can approach us at any time if you are having problems getting your child to school on time.
A pupil arriving late may seriously disrupt not only his or her continuity of learning but also that of others
Donation/ Tuition fees:
Salford Arabic School is a non-for-profit project managed under the Yemeni Community Association of Greater Manchester. The donations/ Tuition fees we receive are purely used to cover the expenses and teaching fees of the Arabic school. Donations from good people like you keep the Arabic school running.
- £50 registration per child.
- £360.00 for the full year paid over 3 instalments (£120 per term). Tuition for this year (20/21) will be reduced to £108 per term due to the reduced number of months that we will be studying.
- For families with 4 children, the 4th child will have free tuition (only registration to be paid).
- All payments should be made in advance (if you don’t pay on time your child will lose his/her
place).
- Donation tax receipts will be issued for these receipts.
- Due to the limited amount of spaces this year, children are not allowed to be withdrawn from the school mid-year, without an acceptable reason.
Co-operating with the School:
Dear parent, Guardian,
- Please view your child’s homework at the end of each school day, to know what your child has to
write, memorise, etc.
- Please write your comments, and forward to the teacher.
- Please take care of his books.
- Please continue to observe his /her work regularly.
- Cooperating with the school is for the benefit of your child.
- Remember the Hadith of the prophet “You are all shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock”
